Currently Listening: Erykah Badu Worldwide Underground

I was in the mood for some Badu when I got to work. Even though Mama’s Gun is my favorite album from her, Worldwide Underground is still amazing. I really like the sound and production on here, because it’s a little different from Baduizm & Mama’s Gun. It’s actually pretty fresh. “Back In The Day (Puff)” is an automatic feel-good song for me, it reminds me of a summer day in the park lol. But I have to say “I Want You”, in all it’s 10+ minutes of glory, is SOOOO sexy…that’s my favorite, hands down x] Her cover of “Think Twice” is great too, I actually heard that version first before the original by Donald Byrd. Really nice album…and I love the cover art too. Hell, I just love her :D
